MHS senior Bella Jacobsen finished in 2nd place in the 3200m run at the WIAA State Meet last weekend in LaCrosse. Jacobsen finished with a time of 10:36.57, smashing her own school record by 15 seconds. Jacobsen also competed in the 1600m run and in an extremely close race finished in 7th place. The difference between 2nd place and 7th place was a mere 2 seconds.

MHS junior Jayden Williams competed in the long jump, the high jump and the triple jump. He had a remarkable weekend and made the podium in all three events. Williams finished in second place in the triple jump with a new school record of 45-10, breaking his own record. In the high jump he cleared 6-9, the same as the first and second place finishers, but had more missed jumps and finished in 3rd place. Williams finished 4th in the long jump with a jump of 22-7.5. Williams holds the school record in all three events.

MHS senior Max Hildebrandt finished 15th in the discus with a throw of 141 feet.

Congratulations Bella, Jayden and Max!
