When a pregnant schoolteacher was pursued down a dark county road by a craft the size of a house, and a police officer radioed in terror before going silent at the edge of a quarry, the quiet community of Pierce County found itself a the heart of a mystery it could neither explain nor ignore. What followed was years of sightings, physical trace evidence, government silence, and a town that, instead of looking away, leaned in.
