MAKE IT! Schedule

May 2:  Snap Circuits   Experiment with "Snap Circuits" building components. They're easy to use and help you learn basic engineering, electronics and circuitry concepts.

May 9:  Rubber Band-Powered Boat   Use recycled materials and rubber bands to build boats that can propel themselves through the water! Experiment with flotation, propelling devices, and more -- how far or fast will your boat go?

May 16:  Flower Press   Using simple materials you can preserve flowers and leaves, just like biologists of the past and present! They can be used as specimens to record what is in your yard, gifts for friends, or help preserve a special occasion.

May 23:  Monster Buddy -- Sewing and Folklore!    Take apart existing stuffed animals and re-sew them together to make a creature from folklore. Lumberjacks would often tell stories of animals that were made up of many different creatures, like the furbearing Bass, which looks as strange as it sounds! This class will involve sewing with needles and thread. We can teach you if you haven't sewn before,

May 30:  Wood Puzzle   Make a puzzle that you can take home! This class will require guardians to work closely with kids, as we use tools!
