Local Boy Competing in Mullet Championship

Eight-year-old Emmitt Bailey from Menomonie is competing in the USA Mullet Championship Kids Division (ages 1-12).

Six hundred kids entered the competition. In July that number was narrowed down to 25 by a vote on Facebook. Emmitt was fortunate enough to make it to the final 25.

Voting for the finals started Monday, August 15th and runs through Friday, August 19th.

Voting is easy and can be done once per day per registered email address. Emmit would appreciate help from the community to win this competition.

Emmitt will be going into 3rd grade at River Heights elementary. He participates in hockey and wrestling and was a state qualifier for youth wrestling this last year. He also loves dirt track racing. His goal if he wins is to use the $2500 prize money to buy a go kart and start racing himself. In his spare time Emmitt likes spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.
