Free pickleball lessons are available this summer. This two-hour session will teach you the most common rules of pickleball, techniques for successful serving, how to hit the ball with the proper grip and basic strategies of the game. You will then play one or more practice games to implement what you have learned. After this session, you will be able to join in and play pickleball.
These lessons are recommended for ages 12 and up (an adult must accompany kids under 16).
Pickleball is a great sport for those who have decent mobility and good hand/eye coordination. Past experience with a racquet sport is a plus.
Registration is required, evening sessions have a maximum of 8 people, morning sessions (women only) have a maximum of 6 people.
