So many people are falling in love with pickleball because it’s easy to learn, fun to play, easier on the body for a sport but still gives a great workout, it’s social, and games last 10-15 minutes and then you get a break until you’re ready to play the next game!
Brené Brown is among the many who have found this sport and can’t stop playing. She just posted: “I hope you get to do something that brings you joy this weekend. For me, joy + play = pickleball. I’m obsessed and try to play four to five times a week. The court might be the only place in the world where I’m fully in the now. Not thinking ahead, worrying, wondering—just keeping my eye on the ball and my head in the game.”
Once you learn, you can keep playing! Indoor play times are held at the Middle School gym on several Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-9 pm for $5 a session. Courts for newer players and experienced.
