P.A.I.N.T. (Program for Arts Integration for New Teachers) is a component of Arts Integration Menomonie- a grant project at UW-Stout which seeks to support UW-Stout students in their development as emerging teachers. The PAINT program offers paid internships to pre-service teachers so that they may gain hands-on arts teaching experiences right here in the Menomonie community. "P.A.I.N.T. SATURDAYS" are weekly visual arts classes designed for your child(ren) to have creative fun exploring various media and techniques! Each week will feature a new art project. REGISTRATION IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED; LIMIT OF 20 STUDENTS per session. Once the session has reached capacity, participants will be added to the wait list. By registering, you are committing to attending all the dates listed for your session. Parents should escort their child(ren) to and from the front of the building on time. A teacher will be there to escort them to the classroom. Please dress your child(ren) in appropriate clothing for messy art making! Promptly pick up your child(ren) after the session. A teacher will remain by the door with your child for their safety until you pick them up. Arts Integration Menomonie (A.I.M.) offers this class FREE of charge. We rely on well-attended classes, as our pre-service teachers gain experience teaching in an authentic school arts environment. If you have any questions, please contact A.I.M. Associate Director, Ann Carlisle at oberdinga@uwstout.edu
