The girls basketball team came up just short in the sectional final against Lakeland today. The final score was Lakeland 60, Menomonie 59. If you missed it, you can watch a recording of it here (not sure how long that will be available). The girls played a great game, it was a close right to the end and could have gone either way. Be proud girls you had a great year!
The boys basketball team ended their postseason in Medford last night with a loss. Final score was Medford (the #1 seed) 73, Menomonie 41.
For anyone that missed the boys hockey score, they lost to New Richmond 10-0 on Thursday. New Richmond went on to win the championship game today 5-1 over Oregon. Congratulations on making it to state Mustangs. Hope you can make it back there next year!
