The Spring Primary is coming up on Tuesday, February 15th. The only item on the ballot is the SDMA school board race.
Seven candidates are running for three open spots. David Styer is the only incumbent running for re-election, Clint Moses and Chris Freeman did not opt to run. Other candidates on the ballot are Rachel Henderson, Scott Parker, Jennifer Sakry, Abraham Smith, Dominique Stewart and Brittany Weiker.
Voters will be able to vote for up to three candidates. The top six vote getters will move on to the April 5th Spring Election. The candidates participated in a forum on February 7th. A recording of that forum can be viewed here on the WisCommunity website.
The City of Menomonie just completed a redistricting plan through the State of Wisconsin that has changed some of the ward boundaries. Check myvote.wi.gov to see if your ward has changed and where your polling location is. Below you will also find the location and hours of polling places in Menomonie. There are only three polling locations in the city for this primary.

The Dunn County Clerk has information on upcoming elections, voting information including absentee voting, a directory of public officials, and how to run for public office.
Unofficial results of the election will be posted here on the Menomonie Minute the evening of February 15th. The SDMA will release the official results at a later time after the Board of Canvassers has met.
