Community Updates for January 29

  • The Rassbach Museum and Fulton's Workshop are open by appointment. You can contact them at (715) 232-8685 to schedule. More information can be found on the Dunn County Historical Society's Facebook page and website.

  • Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Dinners, which have been held on Friday's at St. Joseph Catholic Church during Lent, will not take place in 2021. They have been cancelled due to the continued pandemic. The KC hope the fish dinners can return in 2022.

  • Wisconsin libraries are partnering with the Department of Public Instruction to improve broadband access in Wisconsin. You can help by testing your home internet here.

  • A reminder to city residents - City Hall has three drop boxes (two inside the main entrances, and a large grey box outside) for the public to utilize for utility payments, pet licenses, permit applications/payments, etc. The contents are collected daily.

  • The Menomonie Public Library shared a link to the American Library Association Youth Media Awards which were announced this week. If you have kids that love to read and are looking for some good books, follow this link to view the winners.

  • Friends of the Red Cedar State Trail and Hoffman Hills are raising funds for new grooming equipment. Donations can be made here.

  • There will be a citrus fruit truck sale on Wednesday, February 3rd at 12:30 pm at Broadway Bowl/Stout Craft Co. More information can be found here.
