Community Update for February 19

The MHS senior class is having a fundraiser at Taco John's on Monday, February 22nd to raise money for their senior lock-in. Taco John's will be donating a portion of the days sales. When ordering, make sure to mention that you are there to support the MHS senior lock-in. Here is the post on Facebook.

The Menomonie Youth Hockey Association is collecting cans for recycling. Cans can be dropped off outside the Fanetti Ice Arena in front of the ag building.

Dunn County is asking for people to submit photos from around Dunn County to be displayed on their website, social media and print materials. More information can be found here.

The Lions Club offers free summer camps for youth and adults with certain health conditions or disabilities. The Wisconsin Lions Camp has been dedicated to providing quality camp experiences for Wisconsin youth and adults for over 60 years. Applications are being accepted and can be found here.

The Menomonie Lions club recently sponsored a new branch club. Ridgeland Virtual Quilters Branch Club will provide handmade quilts for a new partnership the Menomonie Lions club has begun with the organization, Sleep In Heavenly Peace - WI, Dunn Co. SHP works with local organizations to build bunkable twin beds for children who have no bed. These beds are given to the children complete with all new bedding.
