On May 11th, a woman was attempting to park in front of the Maurice's store in North Menomonie when she accidently put her foot on the accelerator when she meant to press the brake. The vehicle went through the window at Maurice's. Neither the driver of the vehicle or anyone in the store were injured.
The Garment Engineering & Production class at UW-Stout created 18 pairs of unisex lounge pants for the Foster Closet. The pants feature size tags inside the pockets so they would not cause irritation for the wearer. They did not want the tag to be an irritant since they learned some kids have sensory and textural sensitivities.
