This warmer weather has us thinking ahead to the summer of 2022, and our upcoming exciting youth programming opportunities! Menomonie Theater Guild is proud to announce Broadway Boot Camp and an Improv workshop will be joining our Beauty and the Beast camp to round out a summer full of FUN for local youth!

Broadway Bootcamp will kick off the summer of theatrical opportunity. Open to students in grades 5th-12th, and running June 13th-23rd from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, this exciting new opportunity teaches all the necessary skills to excel in musical theater. Students will work in small groups, ensembles, and solo settings to learn music and choreography for a one-night-only show on June 23, 2022, at the historic Mabel Tainter Theater! Tuition for this experience is $165, limited scholarships are available and must be approved prior to registration. You don't want to miss out on this excellent opportunity!

Next up is our Improv Workshop. If you've ever laughed until you cried watching "Whose Line is it Anyway?" you've enjoyed the art of improv! Students in grades 5th-12th will learn the ins and outs of improvisational acting, including how to create a scene on the fly, tell an effective joke, and collaborate with their improv team. The workshop will take place from July 6th-8th from 2:00-4:30 pm at the MTG building, with a showcase for friends and family on July 9th, 2022 at 7:00 pm. The cost for the workshop is $40.

Registration for these two opportunities will open on: APRIL 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
