Advisory Healthcare Referendum to Appear on November 8 Ballot


In Dunn County, a referendum will appear on the November 8th ballot.


The referendum asks, “Shall Congress and the President of the United States enact into law the creation of a publicly financed, non-profit, national health insurance program that would fully cover medical care costs for all Americans?


This advisory referendum is a citizen-initiated ballot measure that asks voters to accept or reject a proposal. Its purpose is to gauge public opinion on a particular issue.


A Community Conversation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4th at the United Methodist Church to discuss the referendum. A list of FAQ's can be found below.
