Adult Mental Health First Aid

A FREE virtual Adult Mental Health First Aid class is being hosted by the Dunn County Partnership for Youth along with Arbor Place Inc.

The Adult Blended Mental Health First Aid class will be held on 05/02/2022 and 05/03/2022 from 3pm-6pm on both days (you must attend both to complete the class).

-Seats are limited for each class.

-Two hours of self-paced learning from your home, AND 6 hours of virtual learning with certified Instructors over two days - 3 hours each day

Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. In the Mental Health First Aid course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.

Mental Health First Aid teaches about recovery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencing these challenges can and do get better and use their strengths to stay well.

Requirements Course Information: - Materials are provided online or in-person - Pre-registration is required 2 weeks prior to the course date - Self-paced online training must be completed 2 weeks prior to the course date - Course size is limited to 25 per course and any cancellations
